Pastor Fred & Kelly Shirley
Senior Pastor
Fred and Kelly Shirley have been happily married for over 25 years. They have three children: Chayse, Colton & Connor.
Fred was born in Missouri, raised in Arkansas, and was going to go to school to play baseball in Texas – but the Lord had other plans. Instead, he attended and graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He started working in ministry with a children’s pastor, where he met his wife Kelly. Fred moved to Minnesota, married Kelly, and created a junior high ministry at a large church in the Twin Cities. There have been many adventures in their 25 years of marriage – but their move to Rochester and taking over Mercy Hill Church in February of 2018, has been their best adventure yet.
In his downtime, Fred enjoys mountain biking, swimming, and taking motorcycle rides with his wife. He and his family love sports, especially football and lacrosse, riding bicycles, eating a great meal together and enjoying family time.
